Information on the Master's program
The standard period of study for the Master's program is 4 semesters.
Further details are regulated by the examination regulations.
The exam registration takes place via Hohcampus.
You can find all information about registering for and deregistering from exams here.
The examination dates for study achievements at our chair will be announced in time.
Basically, you can see the dates in HohCampus in your "Studienplaner". The examination dates are usually fixed at the beginning of the registration period.
Registration to attend lectures at the University of Hohenheim is usually not required.
Only for participation in the focus seminar Pedagogy / Didactics (as part of the Master's in Business Education) registration is required. Information on registration can be found in time on Hohcampus and the homepage.
For students who take the external courses offered by the University of Stuttgart as part of their second subject, there may be deviations here: At the University of Stuttgart/Vaihingen, there are some courses with mandatory registration. For further information, please refer to the respective homepages of the organizers.
No, you can also access the external course offerings of the University of Stuttgart via your Hohenheim Ilias account (see below for procedure).

Procedure:
First, log in to the Ilias of the University of Hohenheim as usual.
Go to Magazine --> Entry page --> External course offers
Here you will find an overview of all available courses. Once the registrations are unlocked, you can click on the folder and join the course.
Please note the following:
- The registrations are binding, i.e. without them participation in the corresponding lectures is not possible.
- Registrations should be made as soon as possible after the courses have been activated, as the courses have a limited number of participants. For this purpose, please check the institute homepages of your subject regularly.
Information about the semester off can be found here.
For some second subjects, the respective module "Subject didactics" can replace the module "Career choice".
However, this only applies if a corresponding module "Subject didactics" is provided for in the curriculum.
No, you do not have to complete any separate work at the University of Hohenheim for the School Practical Studies module.
The practical school studies with 12 ECTS credits will be booked as soon as you have completed the second and third module of the practical school studies (in the school and in the state seminar) and submitted the proof to the SIZ.
