Standard recognition

Prerequisites

You have already completed

  • a Bachelor or Diploma degree
  • with at least 90 ECTS* in economics and
  • at least three years of study.

* the Economics sections of at least 90 ECTS must be composed of the following sections in the fields of Business Administration and Economics

  • at least 42 ECTS in the field of Business Administration (legal modules, e. g. civil law, can be credited with up to 12 ECTS, (business) informatics with up to 6 ECTS)
  • at least 32 ECTS in the field of economics (methodological basics, e. g. mathematics, can be credited with up to 18 ECTS)

A preliminary examniation is not possible!

Recognition

The achievements of the following areas of the B. Sc. in Business Education are recognized in a flat-rate manner, provided that you have at least have the same number of ECTS in this field (regardless of the specific module title):

  • in Business Administration (BWL) max. 58 ECTS in Business Administration also include modules in law with up to 12 ECTS and (business) informatics with up to 6 ECTS
  • in Economics (VWL) max. 48 ECTS in Economics also include Methodological Fundamentals with up to 18 ECTS

Retaining and Conditions

The modules still to be completed are usually limited to the business education modules as well as to your elective field. In Business Administration/Economics, you have to complete all modules that have not been recognised until you have reached the minimum ECTS for admission to the admission category B2/Z2.For Mathematics, German, English and Sports: Basic module before advanced module. Which modules you must take must be clarified with the respective department.No Bachelor's thesis must and cannot be written within the framework of the flat-rate recognition.

 

Duration

This variant usually involves a post-qualification period of 2-3 semesters. They are classified in the 4th FS.

 

Completion

They are limited to completing the "minimum ECTS", which are necessary for admission to the Master's programme, but do not acquire a Bachelor's degree in Business Education.
