Research

Research in business education at the University of Hohenheim covers a broad spectrum of topics and methodological approaches. In addition to the previously dominant theoretical approaches to vocational education and a specific empirical and normative integrating research perspective, the focus of recent work is on basic empirical teaching-learning research. Research is conducted, for example, on the emergence and impact of emotions in teaching, learning and work processes, metacognitive facets of domain-specific problem-solving processes, as well as questions of the professionalism of school and company teachers and managers and the quality of teaching.
