Individual recognition

Prerequisite

You have already completed or started a course of study for which you would like individual recognition.

A preliminary check is not possible!

Recognition

In this variant, the achievements of your pre-study studies are individually examined to see whether they are recognized. For the recognition of a module, a content agreement of at least 75% required. The individual examination by the examination committee applies.

Retraining and conditions

All credits that have not been recognised have to be made up until either the minimum ECTS required for admission to the Master's degree programme in Business Education or the total credits of a complete Bachelor's degree in Business Education have been reached.

If you decide to complete only the minimum ECTS, please note the following:

(1) The economics components of at least 100 ECTS (for admission to the Master's degree programme) must be composed as follows in relation to the fields of Business Administration and Economics:

  • min. 42 ECTS in the field of Business Administration (legal modules, e. g. civil law, can be credited with up to 12 ECTS, (business) informatics with up to 6 ECTS)
  • min. 32 ECTS in the field of economics (methodological basics, e. g. mathematics, can be credited with up to 18 ECTS)

(2) The following benefits shall be dispensed with:

  • Bachelor's thesis (requirement: A successfully completed Bachelor's degree must already be available)
  • Economics: In the field "Human Resource Management (HRM)" you must complete at least 24 ECTS instead of 36
  • General education: In your chosen field (German, English, Mathematics, etc. ) you must complete at least 24 ECTS instead of 36

(3) For Mathematics, German, English and Sport: Basic module before advanced module. Which modules you must take must be clarified with the respective department.(4) The time limits for orientation and mid-term reviews shall be respected.

Duration

In this variant, the duration depends on your individually required time of the modules to be completed or the classification of the subject semester.

Conclusion

You can either complete the "minimum ECTS", which are necessary for admission to the Master's degree programme, or you can also provide further services of the study plan and thereby obtain a complete Bachelor's degree in Business Education.
