The award of Bachelor theses in Business Administration and Business Education is made via a central allocation system: KVS. You can easily and conveniently register via the KVS by specifying your preferred chairs. The registration period starts approximately 2 weeks before the last registration date. You will usually receive a notification about your assignment 1-2 weeks after the deadline has expired.

Last registration date for Bachelor theses:

  • in the winter semester: February 15
  • in the summer semester: July 15

You have received a commitment from 560A or 560B. What's next?

Once you have been assigned, you will be contacted by the chair by e-mail with initial information about your Bachelor's thesis and will be included in the current course of the final dissertation colloquia in ILIAS.

In the ILIAS course you will find various folders for topics, literature and much more. Familiarize yourself with the course structure, materials and dates for optimal preparation.

Both chairs offer colloquia in which you can present your first drafts and ask questions. The exact dates can be found in the course.

Colloquium, registration and processing phase

The colloquia serve to introduce and discuss topic ideas, research, work plans, concrete questions, etc. in an open round. Participation in the appointments is voluntary, we advise you to attend at least the first appointment, as there will usually be no one-on-one support.

Prior to registration, an exposé is usually prepared with suggested titles, a draft structure, key questions/objectives and key sources. Further information can be found in the colloquium.

You will find all information about the application on the following page under the heading "Bachelor Thesis".
